Industrial Portable Evaporative Coolers for Factories and Warehouses

An industrial portable cooler has to do two jobs at once: move enough air for a large space, and move to wherever the heat is this week. The duct evaporative units on this page do both. They are portable on casters, they push 18000 to 30000 cubic metres per hour, and they carry a 300-litre tank, so they are not tied to a water point for every hour of running.

The three sizes, and what changes between them

The DH-ASY series comes in three sizes. The DH-18ASY moves 18000 cubic metres per hour at 1.1 kilowatts, in a 1090 by 1090 by 1950 millimetre body. The DH-23ASY moves 23000 at 1.5 kilowatts, in an 1100 by 1100 by 1950 body. The DH-30ASY moves 30000 at 3.0 kilowatts, in a 1260 by 1260 by 2300 body. Water consumption rises with size, from 10 to 15 litres per hour on the 18000, to 15 to 20 on the 23000, to 20 to 25 on the 30000. The tank stays 300 litres across all three, so the larger units simply need refilling sooner at full load — a running-cost fact worth costing before you choose on airflow alone.

Voltage and control: the BP versions

Each size also comes as a BP version. The standard versions run on 380 volts at 50 hertz with manual single-speed control. The BP versions run on 220 volts with 12 speeds and an LCD display. That choice is about your site, not about cooling power: the airflow, the body and the tank are the same within a size. Order the wrong voltage and the unit cannot run as planned, whatever its airflow says. Check what your site actually supplies before you choose a version, and say so in your inquiry.

Where industrial portable units fit

• Factories and workshops: the page-stated application, where heat moves with the work and a fixed installation would cool empty floor as often as occupied floor.
• Warehouses and retail spaces: large volumes where air exchange matters as much as temperature, and where a duct can aim cooled air at the occupied zone.
• Livestock and greenhouse buildings: the product page lists poultry, greenhouse and livestock use, where fresh air and cooling arrive together.
• Small to medium data centres as auxiliary cooling: the page states auxiliary use, not primary cooling — a distinction to keep when you specify.

What to check before ordering an industrial unit

• Airflow against your space: the three sizes are 18000, 23000 and 30000 cubic metres per hour. No coverage area is stated on the product page, so do not let anyone convert airflow into square metres without your building's height, heat load and exhaust route.
• Water and drainage: 10 to 25 litres per hour depending on size, from a 300-litre tank. Cost the refill and drainage routine, not just the unit.
• Voltage on site: 380 volts for standard versions, 220 volts for BP versions, both at 50 hertz.
• Exhaust route: evaporative cooling pushes air in, so the space needs a way for air to leave — open doors, exhaust fans, roof openings — or humidity builds and cooling falls away.
